Hi! I’m Mandy
Registered Psychotherapist | Practice Owner
I believe therapy isn't one-size-fits-all. Each person brings their own experiences, relationships, and understanding of the world, and I believe our work together should reflect that.
My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable showing up as you are, exploring what you're experiencing, and developing a deeper understanding of yourself. Through compassion, curiosity, and collaboration, we'll work together to understand the patterns that may be affecting you and find ways to move forward.
MY Approach
Therapy isn't one-size-fits-all.
I take an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from different therapeutic modalities and adapting our work to your needs and goals. I'm interested in understanding how you see the world, what has shaped you, and how your experiences may influence the way you think, feel, and relate to others today.
Our sessions may involve exploring emotions, asking questions you haven't had the opportunity to ask yourself, or noticing patterns that keep showing up in your life. Sometimes, understanding where a pattern began can help us make sense of why it continues. Other times, our focus may be on developing tools to navigate what's happening right now.
There isn't one right way to do therapy. We'll work together to find what feels helpful for you.
What does therapy with me look like?
You don't need to arrive with everything figured out or know exactly what to say.
I provide space to talk openly about what's happening in your life, while offering questions and guidance to help you explore things more deeply. We may spend time understanding an emotion, making connections between past and present experiences, or exploring what you need in a particular situation.
I want our work to feel collaborative. You know your own experiences best, and my role is to help you make sense of them, build awareness, and work toward changes that feel meaningful to you.
My Experience
For over 10 years, I have supported children, teens, and adults through a variety of life challenges. My experience in community-based settings has allowed me to work alongside people with different abilities, experiences, and support needs.
As a Registered Psychotherapist, I bring this experience into my practice, supporting individuals navigating concerns such as anxiety, grief, trauma, emotional regulation, and relationships. I have also completed training through the Gottman Institute and incorporate Gottman-informed approaches into my couples work.
I continue to value learning and developing my therapeutic skills so that I can offer thoughtful, individualized support.
Thinking about starting therapy?
Finding a therapist can feel like a big step, especially if you're unsure where to begin. You don't need to have all the answers before reaching out.
I offer a free 15-minute consultation where we can talk about what brings you to therapy, answer your questions, and explore whether working together feels like a good fit.
Whenever you're ready, I'd be happy to connect.
